LUCY RUSSELL

BIOGRAPHY

Lucy Russell is a proud lifelong North Carolinian. In 2020, she earned her bachelor’s degree in Public Policy with highest honors from UNC-Chapel Hill.  Lucy started her career in the public school classroom. She has spent the last few years serving as a 2nd grade teacher in Warren and Wilson Counties. In 2022, she balanced teaching with managing a State Senate campaign across 10 counties in northeast NC. She currently serves on the boards for the Wilson County Public Library system, the non-profit Seeds of Hope Wilson, and for the statewide organization Lillian’s List.
